About the school
Northern Helsinki Art School was founded in 1986. The school is run by Northern Helsinki Art School Association´s Board.
The school is supported by the City of Helsinki and the Finnish Ministry of Education.
Approximately 500 pupils attend the school annually. The age of the students varies from 4 to 20 years of age.
Northern Helsinki Art School provides teaching in three locations:
1) Itä-Pakila Ohrahuhdantie 2B, 00680 Helsinki
2) Malmi Malmitalo, Ala-Malmintori 1, 00700 Helsinki
3) Kannelmäki Kanneltalon nuorisotila, Klaneettitie 5, 00420 Helsinki.
